El Txoco de Luis Salinero has been the leading restaurant in Puerto Banús (Marbella) since its opening on 19th July 2019. With an open kitchen on display, located in a modern and elegant establishment and using products of the highest quality, in this restaurant it is not only important what you eat, but how it is eaten and served. The heads of this restaurant are María Teresa Blanco, the manager, and Luis Salinero, who officiates from the kitchen.

At El Txoco we practice a seasonal “Cuisine from North to South” where diners can savour a great variety of products and dishes from all over the country.

The maximum quality and respect for the products and dishes is the hallmark of our cuisine. Diners can enjoy traditional dishes which areinnovatively and masterly executed to achieve the unique and intense flavours that characterise our cuisine.

More than a feast for the palate

However, El Txoco is not only a feast for the palate. Our open kitchen allows sight to be as important a sense as taste, and to compose a unique experience that goes far beyond merely eating. Diners have the option of sitting down at the table or at the bar to watch the dishes being prepared on the spot and even talk to the chef. A live kitchen show, each and every day. When ordering, diners can choose to eat tapas or dishes.

Luis Salinero’s personal project

At the head of the kitchen is Luis Salinero, who at the age of only 23 was described by Ferran Adrià as the best chef in Castilla y León. He has a long career on his back working in haute cuisine restaurants, luxury hotels and projects with large European and international companies.

El Txoco is his most personal project and major brands take part in it.

International prestige brands

Ox and cow meat from José Gordón’s El Capricho in León, described as the finest in the world according to major international media such as Time, Vogueor Stern magazines, as well as newspapers such as The Guardian and The New York Times. In the province of Málaga, these exclusive products can only be found at El Txoco. Pommery, one of the world’s most renowned and respected champagne houses, has selected us as brand ambassador in Puerto Banús. Mahou has also named us brand ambassador of San Miguel Magna, the Golden Lager beer of the most important brewery in Spain. Other outstanding brands that conform our trusted wineries are those from grupo Zadibe such as Ramón Bilbao, a firm with along history and a contemporary personality that distinguishes itself for producing high quality wines; or Mar de Frades, an albariño white wine from the Rías Baixas region in Galicia.
